UNITECH Technology Yeh Corp. (UTYC) was founded in July 1982

UNITECH Technology Yeh Corp. (UTYC) was founded in July 1982 and has accumulated several decades of experience of manufacturing and research & development in the die casting and injection molding industry.

The current total investment of the company has reached USD 8.5 million and the employee number amounts to about 100 people. We have expanded our production lines into two factories, the Xing-Xiao plant which occupies an area of 1700 m2, and the Ming-Xing plant which occupies an area of 7000 m2.

The main production items of UTYC include chip trays for COG, ABS reels for COF, SD Card & MMC Card, gears, IC Card, etc., which are distributed to the production lines in the two plants. We also provide the manufacturing and services of all kinds of precision molds.

Company History

  • 1982Established and cooperated with the Japanese firm RCA in developing all kinds of TV parts
  • 1985Developed the molds and injection molding for all kinds of plastic parts of VHS/Sony Beta video tapes
  • 1990Developed the molds and injection molding for the 3.5“ Floppy Disk
  • 1992To cooperate with 3M Corporation in developing molds and injection molding for plastic parts of Data Cartridges.
  • 1994To collaborate with E.P.T. (U.S.A.) in developing various medical equipment parts.
  • 1996To develop I.C. Hard Tray and Chip Tray.
  • 1998To develop CD case molds and 8-cavity injection molding with a cycle time of 5 seconds.
  • 1999Obtained ISO-9002 certification and won the Silver Award from PHILIPS in the same year.
  • 2000To develop IC Card / Smart Card molds and injection molding.
  • 2002To develop molds and injection molding for various plastic parts of TFT-LCD.
  • 2003To develop SD Card / MMC Card.
  • 2004To develop various precision plastic gears.
  • 2006To develop ABS reels for COF.
  • 2007Investment transferred to Jing Jieh Industrial Co., Ltd. for the development of embossed protective tape for COF.
  • 2012Trans-investment in Kun-Che Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to develop insulin injectors.
